WHY AM I INVOLVED WITH GREINER BILLINGS – (submetered projects)?
When developers construct condominium and apartment projects, there are   typically fewer municipal water meters than individual residences and the bills for  these meters are sent to the condominium homeowners association (HOA) or the  apartment project owners (Owners).  The HOAs/Owners then bill these costs to the   residents by means of individual billings based on separate water submeters  installed at each residence. GREINER BILLINGS is a contractor providing water  submeter reading and billing services to the HOAs and Owners.

WHAT CAN I DO IF MY WATER BILL SEEMS TOO HIGH (submetered projects):

If your water meter is located in your garage with a connection to an externally  mounted remote indicator that resembles an odometer:  Click the Internal Meter  button

If your water meter is located on the exterior of your residence or is mounted on the interior of the garage with a remote reader that has no odometer function: Click on the External Meter button.

WHAT IS RUBS?   
RUBS is an acronym standing for Ratio Utility Billing System(s). It is a methodology for allocating water utility expenses among residents based on such factors as square footage, number of occupants, number of taps, number of fixtures, some other easily quantifiable measure or a combination of factors. It encourages conservation by allowing renters to see their utility costs separately from their rental expense. A recent study of The National Apartment Association found that tenants in complexes using RUBS consumed 6% to 27% less water.

WHY AM I INVOLVED WITH GREINER BILLINGS – ( RUBS projects)?
In developments that were not originally plumbed in a fashion that supports individual submeters, many HOAs/Owners institute RUBS. GREINER BILLINGS provides billing services for RUBS-based projects.
